The Brahmatal Trek is one of the most beautiful winter treks in the Indian Himalayas, located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Perched at an altitude of around 12,250 ft (3,734 m), the trek offers stunning views of some of the tallest Himalayan peaks including Mt. Trishul, Mt. Nanda Ghunti, and Chaukhamba. The highlight of the trek is the serene Brahmatal Lake, which remains frozen during winter and is believed to be associated with Lord Brahma, adding spiritual significance to the journey.
The trail takes you through dense oak and rhododendron forests, vast snow meadows, and scenic campsites like Bekaltal, another pristine high-altitude lake. The trek is especially popular between December and March, making it one of the best winter treks in India with clear skies and panoramic mountain vistas.

Credit Note :

GST :
Any GST charged on the booking or transaction is non-refundable.
Pending Refund :
If there is any refund pending on your booking, it will be processed back to the same payment method used for payment. Refunds are generally completed within 5–7 working days.
Partial Refund :
In cases where a partial refund applies, the refund amount will be calculated after deducting the booking amount and applicable cancellation charges, depending on the timing of the cancellation.
Remaining Amount :
The remaining amount refers to any payment made over and above the booking amount and will be refunded according to the applicable policy.
Emergency Bypass Policy :
In extraordinary situations such as war, pandemics, natural disasters, or force majeure events affecting the travel region, the Emergency Cancellation Policy will take precedence over all standard cancellation policies.

The Brahmatal Trek is located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, in the Garhwal Himalayan region. The trek starts from a village called Lohajung, which is approximately 300 km from Dehradun. You can reach Lohajung by shared taxi, private cab, or coordinated group transportation.
The highest point of the trek is the Brahmatal Summit, which is located at an altitude of around 3,734 m (12,250 ft). This altitude is manageable for beginners with basic fitness.
The total trekking distance is around 24 km, completed over 5N/6D. The first and last day are mostly for travel and acclimatization, while the middle days are spent trekking on the trail.
